I have always admired elegant, graceful cats with an aristocratic appearance. I wanted a lively, playful, and friendly kitten to brighten my home. At the time, I hesitated between two breeds: Siamese or Russian Blue…

After visiting Joana Šimkuvienė’s Russian Blue cattery Jovilga*LT, I realized that this was exactly the breed I wanted. I was captivated by the combination of their bluish coat and green, emerald-colored eyes. The kittens’ character traits and temperament completely charmed me. I decided that Aktia would become our pet.

When the kitten grew up, Joana suggested that we participate in a cat show and hear the judges’ opinions about our green-eyed beauty. Honestly, I had never even considered breeding. However, after the show—when Aktia received excellent evaluations—I developed a desire to continue participating in exhibitions, communicate with other breeders, and perhaps acquire more representatives of this breed and establish a cattery.

Some time later, Aktia’s mother Tessa also joined our household. Since two female cats were now living with us, it became necessary to find them a male.

After a long search, I discovered the Latvian cattery LV*Sapphire Twilight online. At that time, a new litter had just been born there. Seeing the kittens’ photos, I immediately fell in love and knew I wanted a male from this cattery. When I visited to see the little ones, I was greeted by a wonderful, affectionate, curious, and friendly kitten named Foma. I also looked at his brother, but decided that Foma was more promising and exactly the cat worthy of becoming the cattery’s stud.

I am truly happy that Foma came to live in my home, as he grew into a magnificent, masculine, and muscular male. His Spanish blood says it all—a true macho!
